Which photo presentation method - iPhoto slideshow, animoto, or voicethread - do you prefer and why? Do they have different uses? When would you use each one?
Personally i like iphoto better than animoto, and voicethread. The reason i feel this way is because you can edit the photos that you want to put on animoto and voicethred, and make them presentable before you put them on the internet, i think that, that is pretty essential.
I liked Animoto the most because it really is very unique. I also liked Voice Thread because you are able to record your voice and give an explanation of where you are and what is going on in your pictures. Overall I like Animoto the most. iPhoto probably takes last in this one.
i think it kind of depends on what i need the application for. for just pictures, i prefer animoto because it adds personality to the slideshow and it allows you to be different. if i were to give a presentation to show something to people i would probably rather have voicethread because it allows me to talk to the people looking at it without me having to really do anything, and it also allows you to comment on other peoples presentation and put your own input. and if i were to do a slow slide show to teach about something or to just talk about in class i think i would like to do iphoto because then i could say different things and take my time in showing things.
Well all three have there differences so let me explain. I photo is more of a presentation type of slide show to me, I would most likely use this when giving a presentation of pictures to a class or my family. Animoto is very edgy and cool, I could see myself using this for class but more so as something I would put on my facebook to share with friends. Voicethread is more for others opinion and kind of resembles a verbal blog in someways, I would probably use this for when I'm trying to get others opinions. I do prefer animoto the most because it is modern and its slideshows are very cool and something I couldn't make on my own.
I liked Animoto, however there were limitations that we had that stopped us from having a longer video. iPhoto was pretty good. I liked being able to edit my photos and I thought there was a lot of potential in having a good slideshow. Voicethread I probably liked the least. It was a cool way to react to photos but it just wasn't very interesting.
Out of all those I probably prefer iPhoto the most for the reasons I mentioned above. They all have different uses, iPhoto as a good way of presenting pictures, animoto was a good way of making pictures more interesting, and voicethread was a good way for a lot of people to react to the same photo.
I would use iPhoto for picture presentations with an audience, animoto to promote an event or happening, and voicethread to share pictures with everyone and hear their reactions.
I'm not sure if I would prefer on over the other because I enjoyed using them all. I just liked using my pictures in different ways and seeing new ways i could use my pictures. I liked animoto but I kind of wish the slide shows were longer then 30 seconds. I liked iPhoto because you could experiment with editing your pictures. I really enjoyed voicethread because I enjoyed putting my own voice into the slideshow. It can help you express with your own voice and explain things about your photos. You could any of these for several different types of projects and presentations.

They all have the same uses just different ways of presenting them. I don't really know when you would use each presentation. But I am glad I was given information on these methods.

i liked iMovie the best because you can do more with it and you can do it yourself voicethread was my second favorite because you can add your voice but i didnt like animoto that much because it did everything for you

Voicethread is easy for me to do. i dont like animoto cause all my pic didnt work

Like Animoto better, I like it better because you have more freedom. Yes, they have different uses. I will probably use them to correct my slideshow.
